I purchased this car almost 4 years ago with approxmiately 140k miles. The previous owner had an SAFC installed and subsequently the engine needed a rebuild after a year of daily driving and a road trip to Texas. I ended up deciding to do a full build and had a local shop do most of the work. Dave Jones assembled and installed the engine and Saridea did the fabrication and other build work.

The car was under the knife for almost 2 years waiting for parts or assembly or tuning and now that I finally have it back I'm ready for my next project. Also I recently purchased a home in Denver with only a single car garage and it was promised to the wife so I'd rather see this car off the streets.

I also have many spare parts that may or may not go with the car depending on the sale price. I've never raced or abused it, never dropped the clutch and always kept up on normal maintenance outside of the build. I'm very sad to see it go but it's just that time. I'm very active on the local mr2 boards (www.rmmoc.com) as well as the national board (www.mr2oc.com). My username is 'bret' on both.
